Because I am very versed in all types of tattooing and have all the different application methods mastered I can offer my clients the choice of either working slower but softer for people who prefer a more comfortable and less intimidating tattoo experience, which comes at the cost of slowing down and completing in a longer total time… Or I can apply in the faster more traditional method which can be more uncomfortable but is very efficient. After some years lines will age and spread, thin out, become see through and can break apart, beautiful subtle gray shaded gradients will flatten out and color will crumble and show patches of inconsistency. It’s got a lot less to do with style or newer vs older machines and materials than most think. It’s just biology and skin is an imperfect medium.
