I went to school to be a illustrator, animator and character designer for video games but my first love both before and after school was tattooing.

Over more than 20 years of tattooing has brought me from Colorado to Hawaii to California working at GURU TATTOO for over 15 years alongside many of the best tattooers in the world. Travel, conventions and guest spots from Seattle to Chicago to New York, Canada and Europe have exposed me to the absolute best tattooing has to offer.

It was a wild ride! Magazine and book publications, art shows, exhibitions and art galleries full of Bodysuit Paintings like the famous “SUITS MADE TO FIT” and Guru’s own “COMMITMENT” set a new standard that you still see tattoo artists today following in the tradition of.

I learned and absorbed and tested every last thing all to bring it back here to Denver again. Back to the lab, to make my own things with all this expertise on my shoulders. I am not just an artist but a distiller. Here to make my own high quality imprint that is truly different.

I have 2 very unique qualities that make me stand out from the crowd in a very big way.

• 1. I really love ORIGINAL art.

  I do SO much study and research to bring my clients fun and good artwork but also do this for everything to have an original twist and for there to be other higher qualities that they will continue to discover and enjoy for years down the road.

I really REALLY love the art and culture of tattooing. I’m obsessed.

But so much of our community is looking back and not forward. Learning the lessons and visual language of tattooing and bringing that knowledge forward to new art is the future of tattooing.

Smart artists and art collectors are able to separate the actual imagery of the tattoo from the print quality itself of an applied tattoo.

By separating and focusing on these qualities individually for over 20 years I am able to not only bring you the highest quality in each of those categories but also several several options that each meet the definition of high quality in different ways. I bring the versatility to make quality in the way that best suits YOU.

So all this means….

-I have done the hard work of pioneering entirely new art styles rather than copying and re-hashing  tired and reused styles.

-I have put in the work and research to develop new application methods that offer higher level print quality as well as visual styling not seen in standard or run of the mill tattooing. These are long tested and time proven with a system that is more of a scientific method where I photograph results and follow up on long aging tattoos to constantly re-test and re-evaluate my methods for proof that they deliver the best results possible.

-No other artists do all this to ensure quality.

My goal is to offer the highest quality of illustrative tattooing to my clients. Not just in the Denver area where I am located but to my many clients that fly in from all over.

Luckily the studio is easy to reach from the airport and has great access to hotels and amenities for any of my traveling guests.

I mostly book by appointment but I have always kept some time set aside for people who want tattoos that are available now.
